Asic Design engineers / Hardware Engineers : ASIC/SOC design engineers should have at least four years experience with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or two years with Masters degree. Experience in MNCs or reputed design houses is desired.
Physical Design Engineer – SIC design & implementation experience with specific background in the areas of timing closure, physical design, tool flow methodology. Hands on experience with following CAD tools (Synthesis: Design Compiler, Physical Compiler OR BlastRTL, Blastfusion; Static timing: Primetime, Hspice; Noise analysis: Celtic OR Primetime–SI; Layout: Blastfusion OR Astro). Requires the ability to coding in scripting langauages, specifically TCL and unix shell languages. Others scripting languages such as awk, perl, C is a plus. Good understanding of layout/physical design concepts (i.e. floorplanning, powerplanning, power/IR/EM analysis, physical verification, custom routing, top level experience) is preferred. Ability to write and read RTL in Verilog and/or VHDL is needed. Design Automation specialists – Front end and Back end CAD flow development ability. Experience in any of Synopsys, Cadence or Magma tool suite is required. Good working knowledge of CMOS design is essential. Good scripting skills are essential and knowledge to write TCL or Perl scripts is a must. Functional Verification tools, checkers and monitors knowledge will be advantageous.
